Phlebologist
Dr. Juris Rīts graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Rīga Stradiņš University. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of venous and lymphatic system diseases - in conventional surgeries, and endoluminal treatment methods: laser procedures and sclerotherapy.
Doctor has been working in the field of phlebology for more than 15 years, performing about 500 vein surgeries each year. The experience doctor has gained allows him to precisely identify and timely recognize the symptoms caused by unhealthy veins. In his daily practice, he offers a full range of solutions for phlebological problems, paying special attention to cosmetic defects caused by unhealthy veins.
Phlebologist Dr. Juris Rīts is a member of the Latvian Vascular Surgeons Association, the International Vascular Surgery Society, the European Vascular Surgery Association, the Latvian Phlebology Society, and the Baltic Phlebology Society.
Doctor interned under the president of the European Vascular Surgery Society, the world- famous vascular surgeon, Professor F. Moll at the Utrecht University Medical Center in the Netherlands. Doctor also enhanced his experience in various vascular surgery and phlebology clinics in Germany, the Netherlands, and Egypt, and furthered his skills in ultrasonography in Denmark.
